Simon Cowell gets threats from a 14-year-old and plays matchmaker with Paula Abdul during action-packed X Factor

By JADE WATKINS

Are you threatening me? Simon Cowell was left shocked after he was given a stern warning from pint-sized rapper Brain Bradley during the East coast auditions of the X Factor last night

He's surely received threats before throughout his long-spanning career as a notoriously sharp-tongued reality TV judge and producer.

But possibly not from the mouth of a 14-year-old teenager.

Last night Simon Cowell was left shocked after he was given a stern warning from pint-sized rapper Brain Bradley during the East Coast auditions of the U.S. X Factor.

Rap: But as the teenager busted into a rap it was clear to see that his threatening tone was actually part of a performance that sent the audience into a frenzy

The teen became irritated after Simon questioned him on why he deserved to be on the talent show.

'Yo yo Simon, I see you man... What is your problem man?... Are you serious? Yo, I swear on your life... if we were on the streets,' he directed at the 51-year-old Brit.

But as the teenager busted into a rap it was clear to see that his threatening tone was actually part of his performance that sent the audience into a frenzy.

Crowd pleaser: Judges Nicole Scherzinger and Paula Abdul busted out some moves

As the crowd went wild for the youngster, the judges stared around in disbelief as he rapped about his mother.

'Brian honey, I am scared of you, and I am not going stare at your mother,' joked judge Nicole Scherzinger.

L.A . Reid, who has produced the likes of Kanye West, Usher and Rihanna, told Brian he had been waiting for someone like him to come into his professional life for years.

Suitably pleased: Even after being turned out by the teenager before his rhyme, Simon was also blown away

Cute: With high hopes of becoming the next big thing, Andy Silikovitz, 43, has been single all of his life

Cheer Squad: Accompanied by his mother who stood backstage with Steve Jones, he revealed to the judges that he had never had a date nor been married, but was hoping that the $5 million prize money would help him find love

Hugs: Simon motioned the middle-aged man to come over and share cuddle with Paula, who happily obliged and embraced him

Confident: Touting herself as the next Mariah Carey, who had 'successfully blown away friends and family with her karaoke abilities Clarissa 'Cashmere' Cheatham was confident

Fit: It was almost like Simon knew what was coming when he broke into a fit of laughter, along with Paula, before Clarissa's terrible performance

Blonde beauty: With her stunning looks Cari Fletcher was a shoe in from the start

Duo: With an army of fans in the audience, Teenage duo Ausem said that they believed and felt the passion in their music and performed of Christina Perri's 'Jar of Hearts'

Awkward: One half of the group, poor Emily, got singled out, with both L.A.and Nicole telling Austin that he was the better singer, and discussed the possibility of splitting the pair up

Dreamy: Simon declared 21-year-old car enthusiast Toro Wolashin as a man's dream, after she told him that she wanted to open her own car shop

No good: Both Jor-El Garcia nor Devon Tally couldn't cut it in Miami

Hunk: Handsome Brennan Hunt was the epitome of a country rock star with his big blue eyes, Southern drawl and raspy voice

Star: Jazzlyn Little brought down the house with her rendition of Mary J.Blige's 'I'm Going Down'

Applause: The performance earned her a standing ovation from the judges

I've missed you SO much! Orlando Bloom can't hide his joy as he is reunited with baby son Flynn in London

By Georgina Littlejohn

There's my boy! Orlando Bloom looked delighted to be reunited with son Flynn as he held him up in the air and then gave him a kiss

Miranda Kerr and Orlando Bloom are definitely a jetsetting couple, spending time travelling around the world for various work commitments.

But one of the downsides of being such a famous couple is that they have to split their time with their eight-month-old son Flynn.

So it was no surprise Orlando Bloom couldn't hide his joy as he was reunited with Flynn at Heathrow Airport in London after Miranda returned with her son from a trip to America and Europe.

Come here! Orlando couldn't hide his joy at being reunited with his little boy, and pulled the baby in for a huge hug

Work and pleasure: Miranda and family are resident in Paris for Fashion Week

Delighted to seen his bonny baby, Orlando playfully lifted Flynn, who looked cute in a striped all-in-one, into the air, causing the baby to burst into laughter.

Bringing him back down to his level, Orlando pulled little Flynn in for a big hug and kiss.

Despite only being eight months old, Flynn is already quite a little jetsetter, having already travelled to his mother's home country of Australia, and to America.

Mind the step: Orlando almost misjudges the distance to the pavement

Feeling weary? Orlando and wife Miranda Kerr looked slightly tired as they arrived in Paris yesterday

But Flynn didn't even have time to settle in London before he was being taken to France with his parents.

The family were spotted looking slightly tired as they arrived in Paris yesterday.

However, after a good night's sleep, Miranda was back in fine form, and showed off her incredible figure in a tiny leather skirt as she fitted in some retail therapy in the French capital.

Fine form: But, after a quick sleep, Miranda was back on form, showing off her long legs as she shopped in Paris

Sexy and slender: Miranda's height and slim figure were highlighted by the short skirt and high heels as she headed for Chanel

Me and the boys: Miranda was joined by a couple of male friends - possibly her stylists - on the shopping spree

The Victoria's Secret star was snapped walking through the Parisian streets with a couple of male friends, possibly her assistants, possibly her stylists.

Miranda, 28, was snapped along the Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré, considered to be Paris's, if not the world's, most fashionable street.

Every global fashion house has a store along the street and Miranda made the most of the fashions on offer as she popped into Chanel and was seen outside Lanvin.

Miranda is in Paris for the city's Fashion Week, which started today, and follows on from London and New York.

Which way to the car? Orlando puts a protective arm around Miranda as they make their way across the airport car park

She's the apple of my eye! Pink dotes over gorgeous baby daughter Willow Sage

By Jade Watkins

Motherly love: Pink doted all over the apple of her eye; her gorgeous three-month-old Willow Sage in New York today

She has made no secret of how much she has been enjoying motherhood.

And today it was no different as Pink doted over the apple of her eye; her gorgeous three-month-old Willow Sage in New York.

Staring into her daughter's eyes she cooed and cuddled with the tiny tot as they sat on a bench seat.

Kiss the pink: The singing sensation gave her baby a peck right on cue

Relaxed in a comfortable all-black outfit consisting of baggy trousers, a tight t-shirt and a pair of combat boots, she later held her tiny baby over her shoulder, whilst she sipped on a refreshing drink.

The new mother went make-up free and pulled her platinum hair back in a paisley printed bandana.

The two girls were also joined by Corey Hart, Pink's husband and Willow's father.

They were making their way to an awaiting chauffeured car after what appeared to be a relaxing lunch.

Gorgeous: Staring into her daughter's eyes she cooed and cuddled with the tiny tot as they sat on a bench seat

Babe in arms: The pop star made sure she kept a tight grip on her bundle of joy

Father and daughter also wore shades of black, with Willow in adorable top and trouser combination complete with red and pink trim, and Corey in a black hoodie and grey shorts.

During the last few weeks the family have been enjoying several fun outings, including visits to the beach and a trip to the Malibu Fair over Labor Day weekend.

At the carnival, the Missundaztood singer looked like she had a ball as she enjoyed quality time with her husband and daughter.

Mini me: Pink cradled her daughter close as they made their way around the big city

Multitasking: Relaxed in a comfortable all-black outfit, she later held her tiny baby over her shoulder, whilst she sipped on a refreshing drink

The star dressed down in combat trousers, boots and short-sleeved lumberjack shirt, but still managed to give her legion of male fans something to smile about by wearing a push-up bra and low-cut top.

Her day got even better when she appeared to have won a giant teddy bear at one of the stalls for her little girl.

Little Willow was born in Los Angeles on June 2 this year.

Family time: The two girls were also joined by Corey Hart, Pink's husband and Willow's father

Pink immediately embraced motherhood, telling People magazine after the birth:
'You hear people say it all the time, how life changes so drastically, but you can't possibly grasp how beautiful that is until you have your child.'

She and her Carey recently moved their family into a plush $11 million Malibu mansion, which boasts 6,800 square feet, six bedrooms and seven bathrooms.

Her old Spanish-style Los Angeles pad is currently on the market for $4 million.

Alone time: At one point Pink stepped out for a solo coffee run

Simon and Paula get lippy: X Factor U.S. judges come to blows as contestant Tiah splits vote (but gets last-minute reprieve)

By CHRIS JOHNSON

Handbags at dawn: Simon Cowell and Paula Abdul got involved in a heated dispute on the U.S. X Factor last night with differing views on contestant Tiah Tolliver

Simon Cowell and Paula Abdul were at each other's throats in last night's U.S. X Factor as they came to blows over a contestant who split the panel's vote in half.

LA Reid and Simon gave 19-year-old Tiah Tolliver a resounding 'yes' after her acapella rendition of Shontelle's Impossible.

But not even her distinctive gap-toothed smile and bee-stung lips were enough to impress female judges Nicole Scherzinger and Paula - who were left feeling flat, despite the powerful vocal.

Opinionated: Paula was unimpressed with vocal, saying it was all over the place, but Simon said the hopeful had great potential

Both Paula and Nicole said her voice lacked control and kept changing key - much to Simon's disdain who said anyone who could not see Tiah's potential must be 'deaf'.

There were tense scenes as Simon and Paula - dubbed Saula - expressed their opposing views.

But in the end she was given a last minute reprieve after singing another song - with Nicole offering her an olive branch.

Splitting the vote: Tiah got resounding yes votes from Simon and LA Reid after singing Shontelle's track Impossible, but no votes from Nicole and Paula

She's through: But after singing another track, Nicole relented and said she would give her a chance, securing her the extra vote to get her through to the next round

'I see the steel in your eyes,' Nicole told her afterwards, adding: 'But I need you to work on your vocals. I'm going to give you a chance and say yes,' she said, changing her vote.

Tiah was delighted with the about turn - but Paula stuck to her guns and still looked unimpressed with her second attempt.

The hopeful was auditioning in Seattle where judges Simon, LA Reid, Paula and Nicole were on the search once again for the next big singing talent.

Elated: The 19-year-old was delighted after the last-minute reprieve at the auditions in Seattle, seen here chatting with presenter Steve Jones

Earlier in the episode axed judge Cheryl Cole made a brief reappearance for the Chicago auditions - the last ones she filmed before she was sacked from the Fox show back in May after just four days of filming.

First up to audition in Chicago were teenage friends Makenna and Brock, singing Colder Weather by the Zac Brown Band.

Cheryl told them: 'The harmonies were spot on, your voices are so controlled,' before the duo were given unanimous 'yes votes' from the other three judges.

Look who's back: Axed judge Cheryl Cole made another brief turn on the show, her last appearance, as auditions from Chicago were aired

It's over: Cheryl took her final bow after making it into to week two of the Fox show

Back in place: Once again the British singer was seamlessly replaced by rival Nicole

Electric: Josh Krajcik, 30, sang Etta James's' At Last and was sent through to the next round

Thumbs up: A four-piece boyband impressed with a rendition of Boyz II Men's End of the Road, which was written by LA Reid himself

Trying his luck: Peet Monsingo sang Bruno Mars's track Billionaire - but failed to make the grade

Proud parents: The 21-year-old seen with his proud parents and host Steve before his audition

Just terrible: Mother and daughter duo The Good Girlz sang Marvin Gaye's What's Goin' On? and were promptly booted from the show

Emotional: Grandmother Elaine Gibbs brought the house down with her take on You've Got A Friend

I'm a fan: Nicole claps as confident waiter Phillip Lomax performs Fly Me To The Moon - and gets through

Chemistry: Paula and Simon were full of their usual quips during the course of the show

Sitting pretty: The judges made an appearance on Ellen DeGeneres's U.S. show earlier in the day
