Bare-faced chic? Kim Kardashian is almost unrecognisable as she goes make-up free

She's the reality TV star who is rarely seen looking anything but polished and glamorous.

So when Kim Kardashian went make-up free last week on her way to a photoshoot in Los Angeles, she was virtually unrecognisable.

The 30-year-old star was on her way to a shoot for her new perfume when she was snapped bare-faced heading out of her home.

Unrecognisable: Kim was virtually unrecognisable compared to her usual made- up look


And, without the lashings of foundation, concealer, highlighter and mascara she usually wears, Kim looked worlds away from the brand she has turned herself into.

It was quickly back to business, however, for Kim, as she tweeted followers a picture from the set of the shoot which showed her with a full face of make-up.

While Kim is rarely seen without her warpaint on, the reality star previously said she has no issues with going without make-up.

She said: 'Make-up is fun, but it’s just another accessory. I’m happy with myself, and this is who I am.

'As much as it’s fun to glam up, the most important thing is to be comfortable in your own skin - with or without make-up.'

Before the photoshoot, which saw Kim adopting a retro style for in a headscarf and Mad Men style outfit, Kim tweeted: 'Shooting my fragrance ad campaign today!

'The commercial went great, now its the photo shoot! I will send u guys some cute pics!'

Kim has been working hard in recent weeks to get in shape for her upcoming wedding to basketball player Kris Humphries.

And, speaking recently about what kind of dress she will wear for the nuptials, which are believed to be shown on her reality show, Kim said she is looking to her fellow celebrities for inspiration.

She said: 'I have been pulling tears of dresses from magazines I really admire on women I've seen...like Christina Aguilera's dress - the shape of it was beautiful.

'I even YouTubed Carrie from the Sex and the City movie, when she tried on all those dresses.'
