Odd choice: Katie Price arrived at the Mayfair Hotel today sporting some rather strange sunglasses


She's hardly one to shy away from bold fashion choices.

But it looks unlikely that Katie Pricewill spark a trend with her latest accessory.

The 33-year-old arrived at the Mayfair Hotel in Central London today wearing a bizarre pair of leopard-print diamante sunglasses.


With the pattern covering most of the lenses, Katie's vision must have been somewhat obscured.

Wearing only a t-shirt with a furry stole, leggings, and studded heeled ankle boots, she must have been somewhat chilly in the cool weather.

It has been a turbulent time for Katie, with Neville Hendricks, formerly of CAN management, claiming yesterday that CAN fabricated stories about the glamour model.

He said: 'The reason why I apologised to Katie Price was that certain people you I had worked with were feeding untrue and damaging stories to the press without my or Nicola Partridge knowledge (sic).'

Katie's new management, Black Sheep Associates commented:

'Kate has been aware for some time that people that used to be close to her have provided false and/or confidential information to the press.'

Turbulent time: A former employee of CAN management revealed yesterday that CAN fabricated stories about the glamour model

'This information has been designed to deliberately damage her and has caused immense damage and distress. Kate has had to think about the issues that will be raised by dealing with these matters and is taking advice from her lawyers and family.'

'Thank you to all those that have disbelieved many of the stories that have been circulated by those with their own agenda.'

Meanwhile it seems Katie Price is giving it another go with Leandro Penna, kicking off 2012 with her Argentinian ex-boyfriend in a London nightclub.

Reigniting the spark? There have been rumours that Katie's ex Leandro Penna proposed to her recently

Leandro was seen carrying Katie into a waiting cab following a 'raunchy' night out with the mother-of-three at the Kassaba Lounge.

A source from the nightclub told the Daily Mirror: 'It was quite raunchy. They kissed on the dancefloor during the night. They were very smoochy with each other.'

'They stayed until about 3am, when Leandro ended up carrying her out to the car.'

It has also been claimed that Leandro proposed to Katie on Christmas Day.
Katie is quoted by The Sun as telling a friend: 'Leandro came to mine on Christmas Day and asked me to marry him. It was completely out of the blue. I don't know what to do'

A source told the paper: 'Leandro is desperate to get back together with Katie and doesn't care that she has been out and about with other men since they broke up.'

Building bridges: Katie Price and Peter Andre, who split in 2009 after four years of marriage, have decided to become closer again for the sake of their children


Formerly embattled exes Peter Andre and Katie Price are finally taking steps to rebuild their shattered relationship for the sake of their children.

The pair insist that the move is not a romantic one, though there will undoubtedly be speculation given their emotional past.

Despite years of public tension, the exes agreed to work things out following a series of phone calls.


'They're ready to move forward together and have discussed being seen in public again,' a family friend told The Sun.

'It'll be day trips with the children — working things out generally and taking those important steps to improve the relationship.'

'It's not romantic — but they know there will be speculation.'

Princess, four, Junior, six, and Harvey, nine- Katie's son with ex-footballer Dwight Yorke- will spend Christmas and New Year's Eve with Peter.

Though Peter, 38, has emphasised that he can never get back with Katie, he has also admitted that he felt 'sick' when he saw photos of her and the children together with cage fighter Alex Reid.

The glamour girl meanwhile showed her softer side when she sent Peter good luck tweets before his stint on I'm A Celebrity earlier this month.

Peter, who has been linked to stars including Elen Rivas and Kristina Macmillan, has admitted in interviews: 'I love her [Katie] as the mother of my kids. We're building bridges to try and be friends.'

Speaking to Piers Morgan during a Life Stories interview earlier this month, Peter said that 'business is finished' as far as he is concerned, but indicated that Katie might not be feeling the same way.

According to Closer, Katie's friends said she was 'in tears' as she watched her ex-husband in the jungle, where they had met in 2004.

A source close to her told the magazine: 'She broke down after seeing Peter's confession. She let the children stay awake to see him on telly and even texted him afterwards saying she adored him.'

The friend said she is desperate to see him and will do anything to win him back, adding: 'She says no one's ever compared to him.'

She admitted that she regretted splitting from him and said: 'Pete still makes my heart jump when I see him.'

She also revealed that during their four-year union, they never had time to enjoy being together.

After she and Pete went their separate ways, Katie married cagefighter Alex Reid, but that only lasted a year and she said she is in no rush to walk down the aisle again.

She said: 'I always thought my married to Peter was the one that would last, I really did.'

Even her friends revealed that she is missing her ex more than ever, with best friend and close confidante Michelle Heaton admitting that she thinks Katie and Pete may have a second chance.

Speaking to heat, she said: 'I just think it's so amazing that Peter and Katie are so nice about each other now. It was such a special romance.'

Speaking to Closer, one said: 'Pete went back to the jungle so he could move on from Katie. He wanted closure so he could leave the jungle focusing on being friends with her.

'But being there was so emotional, it brought it all flooding back. He's said publicly they'll never be reunited but now he isn't so sure of what he wants.'

Most people would have been beaming from ear to ear if they could trade the cold British winter for some Californian sunshine.

But Katie Price didn't appear to be happy at all during her time in the States.

The glamour model was rarely seen without looking slightly annoyed.

Even as she arrived at Los Angles International Airport yesterday, she didn't seem happy to be making the trip back home to Great Britain.

The mother-of-one arrived at LAX in a creme cardigan with a fur trim and was escorted by a number of airline staff into the terminal.

She was quickly bustled into a side entrance normally reserved for employees before being taken through security.

At the security check point Katie was treated like every other passenger and was told to remove her cardigan and put her computer in a tray to be scanned.

She remained hidden behind her large sunglasses and kept her lips firmly clasped.
This afternoon Katie arrived at London Heathrow and maintained her no smile policy.

She was met once again with a security escort and quickly made her way through Arrivals and out of the airport.

Her lips appeared to be slightly more full than usual and at one point she tried to conceal her pout.

She appeared to be distracted by her mobile phone and was checking it constantly.

Perhaps her ex-husband Peter Andre has something to do with her blue mood.


The Mysterious Girl singer admitted to Piers Morgan that he suffered panic attacks after the breakdown of his marriage to Price, who he divorced in 2009.

Appearing on an episode of Piers Morgan's Life Stories, Andre broke down in tears as he spoke about the split.

He said: 'I think that's what hurts the most about what went wrong a few years ago. Because I'd just come from the worst place in my life. I'm not blaming anybody, but when I finally found happiness (with Katie), it was the first time I'd felt good.

She may be taking a break in Los Angeles but Katie Price looks far from happy to be there.

The mother-of-three was spotted out and about again yesterday, this time to enjoy some retail therapy.

But it seems even a day of shopping in Beverly Hills can't cheer the 33-year-old up.


Wearing a bright pink shirt with matching nails, Katie's outfit was certainly cheerful but her facial expressions were not.

She teamed the colourful garment with a pair of blue skinny jeans and leopard-print boots and wore a small handbag across her body.

Looking her usual tanned self, the former glamour model wore her blonde extensions down straight and looked in desperate need of a laugh.

However, perhaps Katie's glum look was just an act for the cameras if her Twitter posts are anything to go by.

Earlier today she tweeted: 'We haven't laughed as much as we just did for ages,' after obviously catching up with friends in the U.S.

As she left the venue, the mother-of-three was spied holding hands with a mystery man who was protecting his identity by hiding beneath a blue leather jacket.

But as she drove away in a taxi, the former glamour model was joined by another male specimen - this time, wearing dark trousers and a checkered shirt.

The 33-year-old caused a swarm of onlookers to gather around, with one brunette clubber putting her arm over Katie's shoulder in a bid to snap a photograph.

As she bent her body away from the unwanted attention, Price seemed to be caught in a headlock and her gentleman companion ended up leading the way.

Amidst all the furore, Price was forced to pull her dress down as it rose up against her thigh.

Peter Andre to make an 'emotional' return to the I'm A Celebrity jungle where he met ex-wife Katie Price

Last time Peter Andre entered the jungle, he ended up with a wife in glamour model Katie Price.

But after two children and an acrimonious divorce, the Australian singer is preparing to return to I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!

Although already scheduled to join the panel on the ITV2 spin-off show I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here Now!, Andre admitted he has one day in the camp he doesn't know what he's doing.


The father-of-two jetted into Brisbane airport on Thursday morning (local time) and made a brief visit to his parents Savvas and Thea on the Gold Coast ahead of his TV appearance.

Although ITV are keeping tight-lipped over what Andre will be doing in the jungle, he's up for a challenge.

He said: 'I’m on the ITV2 panel for three days, but I’m here for four days.

'They are not telling me what’s happening on the other day. They’ve blocked one day out and they’ve told me, "You’ll see what happens." I don’t know what they’re doing. Am I going in?'

Shop till you drop: It looks like the singer has been enjoying the duty free shopping in Dubai on his changeover


Although Andre admits he would be happy to return, he would rule out any sky-diving.

He said: 'How would I feel about being dropped into the jungle? If it’s not to compete, I’m fine with it.

'Why not go in there and do a trial? Sure. I won’t jump out of a plane, but I’ll have a go at anything else.

'I’m looking forward to it, though. I wouldn’t mind going in there, as long as I’m not competing. I’d definitely drop in there for a day or two to have some fun.'

Andre famously met his ex-wife Price when they both appeared on I'm A Celebrity eight years ago.

But less than a year after the birth of their daughter Princess Tiaamii, the couple split in May 2009 after three and a half years of marriage.

Andre admits it will be emotional returning to the place where he fell in love.

He said: 'It’s been emotional to return here. I had some mixed feeling yesterday.
I’ve been back to Australia since the jungle, but never back there.

'That was eight years ago. I know that because Harvey is nine years old. Wow! Can you believe it?

'The last time I came here single, I ended up walking out and getting married. This time I’m going to try and stay single.'

When asked about his opinion on the celebrities on the show so far, Andre asked if model Emily Scott was single.

But he admitted he probably couldn't compete with The Only Way Is Essex heart-throb Mark Wright, 23.

He explained: 'He’s the younger generation. He’s a good-looking bloke and he’s probably 15 years younger than me. I can’t compete.'
