He's one on-trend tot! Coleen Rooney takes a dapper Kai to watch daddy Wayne – and sees him score a hat-trick

By Sarah Bull

On-trend tot: Kai Rooney looked adorable in his matching outfit as he arrived at Old Trafford to watch his father play football yesterday

Given his mother's penchant for shopping it's no surprise Kai Rooney is a such a well dressed little man.

And as the tot made arrived at the Manchester United game to watch his father yesterday, Kai was looking as cute as can be.

The on-trend toddler, who is nineteen months old, was decked out in a pair of washed jeans a striped T-shirt and a beige coat.

And Coleen Rooney, ensured his trainers were matching his jacket for the trip to Old Trafford.

Kai, who is the spitting image of Wayne, had his hair pushed over to one side to finish off his polished look.

And it seems the pair's presence at Old Trafford was just what Wayne needed, as he managed to score a hat trick of goals to lead Manchester United to a 8-2 defeat of Arsenal.

My lucky charm: Coleen Rooney took son Kai to watch Wayne in action for Manchester United at Old Trafford today

Making their way in to watch the match, Coleen's mother Colette kept a tight grip on a clearly-excited little Kai, who is looking more and more like his famous father by the day.

Coleen, meanwhile, pushed Kai's pram into the venue and looked equally excited about the day's match.

The 25-year-old star looked glamorous in a leopard-print shirt and black trousers, with her brown hair teased into an elegant up 'do.

Man of the match: Wayne scored three goals and helped lead Manchester United to their 8-2 victory over Arsenal

Before the match, Coleen took to her Twitter page to update her followers about her excitement over the match.

She wrote: 'Off the match with my little man Kai!!! To watch his daddy!!'

Coleen later tweeted: 'Well done @WayneRooney!! So proud of you x'

Kai is already proving to be a fan of the beautiful game, and is often seen watching his father on the pitch.

Congratulations: Coleen took to her Twitter page to congratulate Wayne on his hat-trick

The little boy, who will turn two in November, has also apparently developed an affinity for another hobby - swimming.

After mother Coleen took him swimming with the dolphins while on holiday in Ibiza recently, Kai is said to have shown his skills in the water so much that Wayne and Coleen have enrolled him on a £600 underwater swimming course.

A source told The Sun: 'He loves it and so does she. It's a special time for them.

'At the end of term there is an underwater photo shoot. Coleen is excited about getting pictures of Kai swimming.'

Coleen and Kai weren't the only famous faces at the match today.

Alexandra Burke also tweeted her excitement about the prospect of spending her birthday celebrations watching her team play.

She wrote: 'Now for Manchester pride tonight....!! Ima go in... Man UTD just made my life ! Well done boys !! @WayneRooney - Man of the match!!!'

Wayne's not the only one with a new 'do! Rooney call-girl Helen Wood treats herself to hair extensions after pub attack

By IONA KIRBY

Hair-raising: Helen Wood treated herself to some hair extensions today

Helen Wood may have been out to prove that anything Wayne can do, she can do better.
The prostitute, who was recently beaten up by a mob during a pub brawl, knew just the trick to make her feel glamorous again.

The 24-year-old blonde headed to Tatiana Hair Extensions in Manchester today and emerged with new long, curly locks.

Transformation: Wayne Rooney is also sporting new locks after a recent hair transplant

It comes after footballer Wayne revealed the results of his £30,000 hair transplant.
The Manchester United player underwent the procedure as he was unhappy with his receding hairline.

And while it looked a light grey colour this weekend, Wayne has maintained that he is happy with his new head of hair.

He said shortly after he had the work done: 'Just to confirm to all my followers I have had a hair transplant. I was going bald at 25, why not? I'm delighted with the result.'

What's the occasion? The prostitute is rumoured to be entering the Big Brother house tomorrow

Helen also seemed thrilled with her new look as she left the salon with a smile on her face.

The visit will further fuel rumours that the mother-of-one will be joining celebrities including Amy Childs and Kerry Katona as a Big Brother contestant when the show returns tomorrow.

Menage-a-trois: Helen (R) and fellow prostitute Jenny Thompson has a threesome with Rooney last year

Last year Helen made headlines when it was alleged that she had a threesome with Rooney and fellow call girl Jenny Thompson. The rendezvous is said to have taken place while Wayne's wife Coleen was pregnant with their son Kai.

And earlier this year a world-famous married actor, who had sex with Miss Wood, was granted anonymity under a High Court injunction.

Is Wayne Rooney going grey after £30,000 hair transplant?

By BEN TODD

The passage of time: Left, Wayne Rooney on 18 May 2009; right, Rooney on August 14, 2011

After spending £30,000 to get a full head of hair, Wayne Rooney may be a little disappointed that his new look already appears to be ageing him.

The Manchester United and England striker began the new Premier League season by scoring in Manchester Utd's 2-1 win at West Bromwich Albion on Sunday afternoon.

And while football fans were no longer able to see his receding hairline, they also could not help but notice the tint of his new hair – which appeared to include areas of light grey.

In action: Chris Brunt of West Bromwich Albion challenges Rooney during a Barclays Premier League match between West Brom and Manchester United at The Hawthorns on Saturday

Rooney had the treatment at a central London clinic at the beginning of June.

In the days following the procedure, he revealed: 'Just to confirm to all my followers I have had a hair transplant. I was going bald at 25, why not? I'm delighted with the result.'

Rooney had a follicular transfer in which hairs are moved from donor areas – usually at the back of the head – and then replanted in bald areas.

You could have made an effort! Wayne Rooney dresses down as he takes a glam Coleen for a romantic meal returning home from tour

By DAILY MAIL REPORTER

Casual look: While Coleen was glammed up for their romantic date Wayne Rooney looked scruffy on Saturday

He has been away on a pre-season tour with Manchester United for three weeks so upon his return Wayne wasted no time in taking his wife out for a romantic meal.

But it appears that he didn’t have enough time to smarten up and looked scruffy in comparison to Coleen who had clearly put in the effort for their dinner date at the weekend.

The pair dined at Gusto restaurant in Alderley Edge on Saturday but Wayne arrived in a pair of ripped jeans, black trainers a grey polo shirt and a black sports jacket.

Didn't read the dress code? As the couple arrived at Gusto in Alderley Edge Wayne looked scruffy compared with the man in suit walking past

Meanwhile Coleen looked lovely in a cream lace dress with a structured jacket and a pair of nude Louboutin heels.

And adding to her outfit the WAG had her hair piled up on top of her head in an oversized bun with a pair of gold drop earrings.

As the couple pulled up, Wayne's attire was highlighted as a smart couple walked into the restaurant ahead of them, with the man wearing a dapper suit.

Mixed style: While Coleen had dressed up in a cream lace dress with a smart jacket and heels Wayne wore a pair of scruffy jeans and a sports jacket

Wayne has been on tour playing football in the U.S. and earlier today he tweeted that he was glad to be back home.

He posted: ‘Back home with @ColeenRoo and Kai. Nice to be home. Edwins game on Wednesday. Looking forward to it.’

Scruffy style: The footballer had holes in his jeans and wasn't wearing a shirt for his evening out

Friends of Wayne and Coleen Rooney 'punched' man and woman at Glastonbury who asked for photo of footballer

By Donna Mcconnell

Not experienced festival goers: Friends with Coleen and Wayne Rooney at Glastonbury are said to have got involved in fisticuffs with fans last night

It may have been their first foray to the muddy fields of the Glastonbury Festival.

But it appears that trouble has followed Man United footballer Wayne Rooney and wife Coleen as friends of the couple allegedly 'punched' a man and woman who asked for photos with the premiership footballer's wife.

Wayne and Coleen both 25, arrived at the festival on Friday by helicopter, with Wayne’s brother Graeme and cousin Claire, along with Coleen’s long-time friend Amy Louise Wilkinson.

And last night, the group were seen among the crowd at the main Pyramid stage while band Elbow were performing their set.

They were soon swarmed by fans wanting pictures with them. A source told Mail Online: 'Coleen seemed p*ssed off that Wayne was mingling with the crowd and posing for pictures with women.'

However, upon being approached by two other festivalgoers for souvenir photos of the celebrity couple, things turned darker.

A source told MailOnline: 'Wayne refused saying to them "I just want five minutes with my mates".'

Soon after, the request prompted an allegedly violent reaction by some of his group.

Muddy hell: Coleen posted up a picture of herself and some of her friends sat on deckchairs on the festival site

The eyewitness said: 'His people started on a guy and a girl. Punching them.' The
ensuing ruckus saw people near the couple getting shoved around in the crowd before security stepped in and broke it up.

'The guy and the girl seemed pretty shaken up. And Wayne and Coleen were escorted away.' No doubt back to the safer confines of the VIP area.

It's not clear who in the Rooneys party threw the punches. However, this latest incident will no doubt raise eyebrows at the millionaire footballer's club, which is currently in its off-season.

Headliner: Chris Martin, frontman of Coldplay, was closing Saturdays' bill on the Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury Festival last night

Festival fans: Billie Piper, left, and Alexa Chung, right, were both at the Somerset music bash yesterday

However, Coleen seemed keen to move on from the apparent incident, posting up on her Twitter late last night a picture of herself and friends sat on deckchairs, with a message gushing about last night's headliners: 'Coldplay live!!! Excellent!! #betterthaniexpected'

While they may have been rubbing shoulders with the festivalgoers, the millionaire couple are not sparing any expense on their trip to the highly anticipated festival, which has been turned into a mudfest by heavy rain last week.

They arrived with their party on Friday morning in a private helicopter - a £5,000 trip - which ferried them from their home in Cheshire to a VIP campsite next to the main festival site.

Festival chicks: Jade Jagger and friend, left, were trudging through the mud on Worthy Farm yesterday along with the likes of Pixie Geldof and friend, right

The couple have splashed out £15,000 on a stay in a Winnebago to make sure their experience as the three-day bash is rather more comfortable — and certainly drier — than most other festival-goers this weekend.

Despite the rain and dark clouds, Rooney attempted to go incognito in sunglasses as the couple walked arm in arm wearing matching Hunter boots.

In true WAG fashion, Coleen opted for a pair of £350 custom-made Hunter wellies with leopard-print lining.

The couple were also spotted being given VIP treatment at a back stage bar where they were smuggled out of a side staff-only entrance.

Other stars seen at the festival yesterday included Kate Moss, there to watch fiancé Jamie Hince in his band The Kills,

Now that's what you call Glamping! Wayne and Coleen Rooney arrive at Glastonbury by helicopter

By Andrea Magrath

Arriving in style: Coleen Rooney poses with Wayne's cousin Claire and friend Amy next to their private chopper as they touched down at the Glastonbury festival

Over the past few days dedicated Glastonbury revellers have dragged their sodden belongings through the mud to set up camp.

But not everyone has suffered the trials of a camping festival in the English summer.

Wayne and Coleen Rooney arrived in Somerset today as the festivities were kicking off, having just touched down on the grounds in their private helicopter.

Getting her designer boots dirty: Coleen and Wayne trudged through the mud in the VIP area

Their luxury transport is hardly in keeping with the spirit of the long-running festival, but then neither is Coleen's designer outfit.

The 25-year-old shelled out a whopping £255 on a coveted pair of Jimmy Choo for Hunter wellies.

Compared to his wife's leopard-print lined pair, Wayne's traditional green were far more conservative.

VIP style: The couple clutched their drinks as they made their way to the stage with their entourage

The couple posed for a happy snap before setting off this morning, Coleen excitedly tweeting: 'Glasto here we come!!!!'

Manchester United star Wayne was suitable casual for the muddied festival grounds in a zip-up hoodie and T-shirt.

Meanwhile his stylish wife was perfectly coiffed with curled locks, a faded denim shirt and leather jacket over black cut-off shorts.

Glasto here we come! Wayne and Coleen Rooney set off for the Glastonbury festival

Slumming it in designer boots: Coleen chose a pair of £255 Hunter & Jimmy Choo wellies to stomp about in the mud

Wayne's new hairline is visible in the photograph, seemingly recovered from his £30,000 hair transplant procedure earlier this month.

Despite their VIP arrival, the couple's festival getaway is far less glamorous than their most recent holiday.

The Rooneys jetted in from their luxurious holiday home in Barbados this week, after a holiday spent sipping cocktails on the beach.

Family day out: Coleen and Wayne leave the VIP area with Wayne's lookalike brother

The Rooneys are gearing up for a heady weekend of partying, shrugging off a callous interview by Helen Wood that was published today.

Miss Wood, who slept with Rooney while his wife was pregnant with the 20-month-old son Kai, has told ES magazine that she has 'no regrets over hurting Coleen.'

The 24-year-old former prostitute, posing naked, remarked: ‘I don't regret hurting her because the way I see it is, if you want to be a d*** get back with the person who cheated on you.’

That's the spirit: While the Rooney's dropped in by chopper today just in time for the festivities to kick off, others have squelched through the mud

Enjoying the atmosphere: Fans watch The Wu-Tang Clan perform at the Glastonbury Festival

But she added: ‘He is so unbelievably normal. Dead timid. Out of all the footballers that I've met I'll never know why he cheats.

'There's a lot worse than him. He reminds me of the boy at school who tried to be the lad's lad, but he's not.’

Wayne and Coleen are just two of the stars who have travelled to Glastonbury for the annual festival.

Famous faces: Jaime Winstone and Will Young were among the famous revellers

Mud-tastic: Professor Green (centre) also made an appearance at the festival

And, despite bad weather over the past few days, the Pyramid Stage speakers appeared to blow away the rain clouds today as the first major acts delighted the crowds amid glorious sunshine.

Mud-caked revellers got a reprieve from the downpours as the Moroccan act Master Musicians Of Joujouka and rapper Chipmunk got proceedings under way on the two main stages.

Sarah Chivers, 48, from Enfield, north London, is at the festival with her daughter Clare.

She said: 'We've been here since the crack of dawn on Monday - it feels like we've been to three festivals before the acts have even started.

'We're most looking forward to U2 tonight - the line-up early on is pretty mediocre but it's better that way. The best is yet to come.'

As well as U2, Morrissey and US rap act Wu-Tang Clan were eagerly anticipated among the crowd.

Ouch! 'Wayne Rooney' grimaces in pain during his hair transplant procedure

By ANDREA MAGRATH

Beauty is pain: 'Wayne Rooney' undergoes a painful hair transplant, as imagined by artist Alison Jackson

Gritting his teeth and closing his eyes, Wayne Rooney grimaces in pain as a doctor injects his forehead.

His head is covered in specks of blood as follicles of hair are planted into his scalp to create a new hairline.

This is how artist Alison Jackson imagines the star footballer's eight-hour hair transplant went, anyway.

Recovering: Wayne exposed his new hairline on holiday in Barbados

Jackson has created this spoof of the Manchester United player's £12,000 procedure at a Harley Street clinic last week.

The fake Rooney, wearing hospital scrubs, is an absolute doppelgänger for the footballer, fooling many fans at first glance.

Alison Jackson is well known for her parody pictures of the Royal family, and celebrities like David and Victoria Beckham, Elton John and Cheryl Cole.

New 'do: Wayne paid £12,000 to rid himself of his receding hairline

Wayne revealed he had undergone the procedure as he prepared to fly out to his holiday home in Barbados to recover.

He tweeted: 'Just to confirm to all my followers I have had a hair transplant. I was going bald at 25 why not. I'm delighted with the result.'

'It's still a bit bruised and swollen when it dies down u will be first to see it. Anyone recommend any good hair gel. Haha.

Hat-trick! Wayne Rooney takes off his cap to reveal results of hair transplant as he soaks up the sunshine in Barbados

By DAILY MAIL REPORTER

New hair: Wayne Rooney removed his cap after a day in the sunshine in Barbados to reveal the effects of his hair transplant and displayed a nasty-looking scar on the right hand side of his head

He tweeted a picture of his new hair before jetting off to the Caribbean to enjoy a family holiday.

But after keeping the results of his transplant under his hat for most of the day Wayne Rooney removed his cap to show off his thickened hairline at the end of the day yesterday.

The Manchester United footballer had been enjoying a day at the luxurious Sandy Lane resort in Barbados when he unearthed his new barnet.

Thin on top? As Rooney bowed his head to take off his cap his new hairline could be seen although he was still sporting sparse hair on his head following the cosmetic procedure

But with his pale skin perhaps Rooney should have been keeping the tender area on his head completely covered as after a day in the sunshine the footballer was displaying a T-shirt line tan, with bright pink arms and a red neck.

Coleen managed to fare better than her husband and showed off an impressive tan despite only being in the sunshine for one day.

With Wayne free in between football seasons, the Rooneys have headed to their £5million holiday home on the island.

T-shirt tan: Wayne was showing off some sunburn on his arms and on his neck

Family day: Earlier in the day Wayne had been keeping things under his hat and covered his pale complexion with a T-shirt

And as expected, the WAG, was showing off the latest acquisition of her designer bikini collection.

The Littlewoods designer, 25, displayed her curves figure in a purple halterneck zig zag bikini.

Earlier in the day her husband Wayne made sure he covered up his pale complexion in a T-shirt and shorts - as well as his recent hair transplant under a red baseball cap.

Family time: Coleen and Wayne play in the surf with their 18-month-old son Kai

Larking around: Coleen shares a laugh with her son as they play in the Caribbean sea

Strolling along the beach at the Sandy Lane Resort, the Manchester United striker, looked every inch the doting dad as he played with Kai on the beach.

The family arrived in Barbados last night after jetting over from Manchester airport.
Coleen was understandably apprehensive about boarding the nine-hour flight with their 18-month-old son Kai.

That's my boy: Just like his dad, little Kai keeps protected from the sun in a hat

Doting dad: The Manchester United player keeps a close eye on his son

She Tweeted on Monday: 'On our way to the airport!! Can't wait to get there but gonna be a fun flight with a active little boy.'

After a follower recommended a portable DVD player, Coleen admitted she already had one and he was watching it.

Once she arrived, she updated her followers: 'Here in sunny Barbados safe and sound!!! Just in the kids pool making friends haha x.'

Come to mummy: Coleen entertains her son in the warm Caribbean sea

Coleen visits Barbados several times a year, while Wayne only gets to fly to the Caribbean in between football seasons.

It's the first time they've returned to the island as a couple since Wayne was embroiled in scandal last September when he was reported to have slept with two prostitutes while Coleen was pregnant with Kai.

While the WAG has enjoyed a few vacations since the furore, they've only holidayed together once since, last October.

Wayne and Coleen left Kai in the care of her parents to enjoy a week long break at the seven star Burj Al Arab hotel in Dubai.

Time out: The holiday is some rare family time for the trio

The couple jetted off to the £2,000-a-night hotel after Wayne secured a huge payrise after threatening to leave Manchester United.

The Rooneys have been fond of Barbados for years and built a £5million house on the island's 500-acre Royal Westmoreland development last year.

The six bedroom villa comes with an infinity pool and breathtaking sea views from the bedroom, and the living room areas.

Other familiar celebrity faces with holiday homes on Barbados includes ex-boxing champion Joe Calzaghe, Wayne's team-mate Rio Ferdinand, Gary Lineker, cricketer Freddie Flintoff, and TV hosts Anthony McPartlin and Declan Donnelly.

Trying to get a full header hair, Wayne? Rooney has transplant at Harley Street baldness clinic

By Daily Mail Reporter

Wayne Rooney today admitted he has had a hair transplant.

The footballer has splashed out thousands of pounds at a top London clinic in a bid to restore his receding locks to their former glory.

The England and Manchester United striker was spotted wearing a baseball cap and a hoodie despite the heat on Thursday when he left Queen Anne Street Medical Centre in Central London.

Transplant patients often wear headgear to hide specks of blood left behind during the early stages of the procedure.

Rooney, 25, later posted confirmation via his Twitter account that he had indeed undergone treatment to grow his hair back.

He tweeted: 'Just to confirm to all my followers I have had a hair transplant. I was going bald at 25 why not. I'm delighted with the result.'

He later added: 'It's still a bit bruised and swollen when it dies down u will be first to see it. Anyone recommend any good hair gel. Haha' and 'I had it done in Harley street hair clinic London. Thanks to all the staff who looked after me.'

His wife, Coleen, tweeted: "Hiya!! Yes waynes had his hair done! His own decision not me asking him, like alot are saying!! Pleased for him and it will look great x'.
Rooney's team-mate, Rio Ferdinand, posted: 'just don't go down the wearing a alice

band route!! You'll be doing head&shoulders adverts soon! Hope its gone ok Good luck lad'.

The clinic, off London's Harley Street, where many top clinics and doctors have their surgeries, is used by many VIP clients.

Revelations: The footballer confirmed the transplant via his Twitter account

Rooney, 25, refused to comment when he was seen outside the clinic on Thursday and was driven away in a chauffeur-driven car.

The clinic uses follicular transfer, whereby hairs are transplanted in groups of 1-4 and grow naturally in the scalp.

It claims the method is 'undetectable' and a 'major advance over older hair transplantation procedures that used larger grafts' and often produced an 'unnatural look'.

Rooney may never have been blessed with a luxuriant mop-top - but he had much more hair when he signed for Everton as a teenager

The technique is a two-step procedure, the clinic says on its website.

During the first step, also called follicullar unit extraction (FUE), a surgeon selects individual follicles from a dense area of hair, usually at the back of the neck, and uses a fine needle, or punch, to pluck them out. No cuts to the skin are necessary.

FUE's benefits are: a quicker healing time, less discomfort and reduced scarring.

The surgeon can also selecting the healthiest follicles and regrowth in most patients 'can be pushed to 100 per cent' according to the clinic.

Once the healthy follicles have been extracted the clinic prepares them for 'follicular implantation' transplant using a 'state-of-the-art stereo microscope'.

Top treatment: Wayne Rooney visited the Queen Anne Street Medical Centre

The surgeon uses a fine needle to make tiny holes in a predetermined pattern in the bald area, ensuring that they are angled so that they grow realistically, before inserting the follicles into the incisions.

The procedure is 'minimally invasive' and, therefore offers a reduced recovery time and reduced risk of complications.

The first hair transplant was performed in America by Dr Norman Orentreich in the late 1950s.

Superstar: The Manchester United striker kisses wife Coleen at Old Trafford

He proposed the concept of 'donor dominance' - the idea that grafts will retain the characteristics of the donor site after they have been moved to a new section of the scalp.

This principle is the basis of all hair transplant surgery - but although 'donor dominance' ensured that transplanted hair would grow, it did not ensure it would have a natural.
