What will her parents say? Lady Gaga heads home for Christmas in a risque plunging dress

By Amelia Proud

Forgotten your bra? Lady Gaga departs from Tokyo Narita International Airport flashing a rather generous dose of flesh

It's the time of year when even the most avowed exhibitionist must reach for the Christmas jumper lest they offend the relatives around the dinner table on the most sacred family day of the year.

This is not the case, of course, for Lady Gaga, who jetted out of Narita in Japan today to head home to New York for the big day.

So far, so conventional, as was her black and white outfit (which will also be handy if I Know Him So Well from Andrew Lloyd Webber's Chess crops up during the family karaoke).

But the 25-year-old ensured that the sight of her was as arresting as always with the plunging neckline on the monochrome number.

It actually plunges right to the singer's navel to expose a just about decent amount of cleavage.

And we can only hope she wasn't required to remove her belt during the security screening.

Of course, the pop superstar - real name Stefani Germanotta - will change into something, perhaps more sober, for the big day.

The black and the white of it: Lady Gaga jetted out of Narita, Japan today to spend Christmas at home in New York

It would please her father, at least, as according to her sister Natali, 19 , he still despairs of his little girls going out in skimpy attire.

She told Teen Vogue: 'Whenever I wear something crazy and my dad gives me a hard time, I say, ‘Well, at least I’m not walking out on the street with red pasties,’ and he’ll be like, ‘Good point.’

Yesterday Gaga was spotted in the Matsuzakaya department store, in the district of Ginza, shopping at Louis Vuitton, wearing dangerous looking claw gloves.

Flying home for Christmas: But that's as conventional as Gaga gets

She later ate at the Shabu Shabu restaurant in the nightclub district of Roppongi.

The Edge of Glory singer was mobbed by excited fans who'd caught wind that she was at a local restaurant.

But she was happy to sign autographs before she was quickly ushered by three burly bodyguards into a waiting limo.

Earlier, Gaga was seen wearing a dangerous all-black outfit which looked like it could take someone's eye out.

She's been Treacy'd! Lady Gaga showcases bizarre head gear, courtesy of kooky hat designer

By NADIA MENDOZA

Green with envy: Lady Gaga goes night shopping at vintage store Rellik in Notting Hill wearing a Philip Treacy creation

As everyone else gears towards Halloween, Lady Gaga busies herself wearing Easter bonnets.

The Telephone singer showcased a typically outrageous item of clothing as she stepped out in a creation from hat designer Philip Treacy.

Balancing atop her peroxide locks, the head attire was dominated with colourful dollar signs bouncing and bobbing in the air from springs.

Million dollar question: Dressed head-to-toe in green, the singer completed her look with a hat sporting colourful US monetary symbols bobbing from springs

The 25-year-old paid a visit to The London Television Studios in Waterloo to pre-record an interview for The Jonathon Ross Show.

She was accompanied by Treacy, who seemed elated at all the attention surrounding his muse's Medusa-inspired wardrobe choice.

Delighted: Hat designer Philip Treacy seemed thrilled at the reception his headgear was receiving

Gaga herself was in high spirits, posing for photographs and even kissing one of her 'Little Monsters' on the cheek, who was waiting for a glimpse of her idol on the other side of the railings.

The Irish designer then seemed to bid his latest companion a fond farewell, before she headed off for a spot of late night shopping.

Friendly: Philip Treacy attended The London Television Studios as Gaga pre-recorded her interview for The Jonathon Ross Show

Greeting her fans: Popstar kissed one of her 'Little Monsters' through the railings

Treacy hit the headlines earlier this year after Princess Beatrice of York came under scrutiny for her choice of headgear at the Royal Wedding.

Having designed hats for various films, including Harry Potter and Sex And The City, he is a force to be reckoned with.

Staying hidden: Although she made a spectacle with the hat, Lady Gaga concealed her gaze beneath celebrity shades

Change of style: Gaga seemed wear something different for her interview as she was seen in a mint green nightdress after recording with Jonathan Ross

It could have been worse... Beehived Gaga goes braless in London in a pretty lace tunic

By NADIA MENDOZA

Red carpet get-up: Despite the temperatures dropping, Lady G dressed to impress in white lace

Lady Gaga stepped out in mish-mash of styles today, mixing fifties chic with a provocative twist.

The singer sported a green tinted beehive to compliment her thick-rimmed spectacles, looking as though she'd raided the wardrobe department of 1978 film Grease; not to mention the fur jacket, reminiscent of the Pink Ladies.

In contrast to the retro vibe, the Bad Romance star opted for some questionable mint green skyscraper boots that wouldn't have looked out of place dancing on tables in Soho.

Mobbed: Security were needed to help the singer manoeuvre from her hotel to the car

The 25-year-old also sported a pair of white gloves, perhaps inspired from Disney character Mickey Mouse or pop legend Michael Jackson.

Despite the dipping temperatures in London, Lady G opted to go braless, leaving little to the imagination in a lace white dress.

Greeting her fans: Lady G gave a royal wave in white gloves before filming a chat show in central London

The pop princess was delighted to cross the Atlantic, tweeting on Monday: 'Just landed in London! Judas playing on Radio 1 the minute I turn it on! Thank u!! Missed the UK.'

Gaga is reportedly on UK shores especially to see showbiz friend Tony Bennett in concert at the Palladium.

The pair joined forced to record their duet The Lady Is A Tramp.

Sexy, single and showing off her bottom! Jennifer Lopez is the bootylicious belle of the ball as she flashes her curvy derriere

By Georgina Littlejohn

Scroll down for the videos...

Shake it, baby! Jennifer Lopez takes to the stage at the iHeartRadio music festival in a red tasseled outfit that flashed her famous derriere during a very vigorous dance routine

She was just one of many acts to take to the stage during the star-studded iHeartRadio music festival this weekend.

But Jennifer Lopez left her contemporaries firmly in the shade with a sexy and sassy performance showing that the much-loved pop diva is well and truly back to her booty-shaking best.

It was certainly her intention last night with the focus on her famous derriere as she took to the stage in a red feathery tasseled outfit.

The 42-year-old strutted her stuff and left her backing dancers gaping in her wake as she shook her bottom - and then flashed it to her delighted backing band.

Jennifer was performing on the second and final day of the festival, which took place at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.

You go, girl! Egged on by her wolf-whistling backing dancers, Jennifer wiggled and shook her curves and tassels

She performed a red hot set that include her new single Papi, and other hits including Get Right, On The Floor, Let's Get Loud, Ain't It Funny and her classic, Jenny From The Block.

And it proved to be a busy weekend for the star who jetted in from the set of her new film Parker in Boca Raton, Florida, to perform at the event.

Queen of the festival castle: Jennifer was adorned in a red feathered cape as she sat atop a velvet throne at the start of her set

Red hot: The singer threw off her cape and strutted down the stairs as she launched into her set

She was one of many acts that performed at the two-day festival, including Lady Gaga, Steve Tyler, Nicki Minaj, Nicole Scherzinger, Sting and Usher.

Gaga, who headlined the concert, was her usual wacky self as she arrived on stage on a motorbike that had been built up using car and motorbike parts.

Everyone wants a piece of you! Jennifer's dancers get up close and personal as they stroke her body during a routine

Twist and shout and rock 'n' roll: Jennifer is swing round by one of her dancers before rocking out with her guitarist

Anything you can do: Jennifer joins her suited and booted dancers in a high-octane routine

Dressed in a long leather studded coat, she teamed her look with a very wide tasseled black hat as she treated her fan-filled audience to a number of her hits, including Judas, Bad Romance and Just Dance.

She also spoke about her male alter-ego Joe Caldone and 'his' appearance at the MTV Video Music Awards last month.

Hello, boys! Jennifer can't help but smile as she looks admiringly at her muscular backing dancers

Speaking to host Elvis Duran, she said: 'Who does he think he is going on national television and speaking about my personal life like that? He’s a sucker.'

And in a rather poignant moment, she dedicated her song 'Hair' to Jamey Rodemeye, a 14-year-old boy who committed suicide after being incessantly bullied at school.

Biker chick: Lady Gaga appeared on stage on a customised motorbike that looked like a piece of modern art and a very wide rimmed black tasseled hat

The youngster, who was from Buffalo, New York, was found dead after an apparent suicide last week having posted in a blog for months about the bullying and how people would launch gay insults at him.

Before he died, he posted a lyric from Lady Gaga's song The Queen on his Facebook page which said: 'Don't forget me when I come crying to heaven's door.'

Energetic: Gaga jumped about in the air and showed off her pole-dancing skills

Strutting her stuff: Having stripped down to a sparkly body, Gaga got raunchy with her dancers

He also Tweeted the star and wrote: 'Bye mother monster, thank you for all you have done, paws up forever.'

Fighting back tears as she dedicated her song to him, Gaga told the audience: 'I know it's a bit of a downer, but sometimes the right thing is more important than the music.

Kooky: Nicki Minaj took to the stage in a layered purple dress and big curly bunched hair

Veterans: Steve Tyler and Sting jammed together during the Police star's set

Hello, ladies: Usher got his female fans in a frenzy with his sexy set

'Bullying is for losers. Jamey, you're not a freak.'

A surprise performance came from former Police frontman Sting who performed with Aerosmith star Steve Tyler, and Usher, who got his female fans screaming with his sexy solo set.

Powder puff girl! Lady Gaga sports huge netting 'powder puff' hat as she announces she's opening the MTV VMAs

By JODY THOMPSON

What a frill: Lady Gaga greets the crowd from the MTV studios in New York's Times Square wearing a huge white frilled netting hat

Lady Gaga left her dressed-down beach days of earlier this week far behind when she got back to work to appear on MTV in the U.S. yesterday.

The 25-year-old star rocked up to the station's New York studios in her more usual out-there attire, wearing a titanic white titfer that looked like a enormous powder puff and matching white lace dress with angular hips and netting sleeves.

Shady lady: The star waved at the the crowd watching her outside through the glass windows of the studio

She was on the station to talk about her new video You And I - as well as to announce that she would be opening the stations Video Music Awards, or VMAs, on 28 August.

Writing on her Twitter last night, she said: 'Thank you little monsters for making this week so memorable.'

Lacey lady: The grinning star lay down on stage and gave a regal wave at one point

She continued: 'I am so excited to be OPENING THE VMA'S this year. Pinch myself everyday. Pinch myself everyday. So happy you love the new video too! What a week! #Monster4Life.'

However, on last night's show, Gaga didn't reveal exactly what she has planned for her grand opening set at the bash at the Los Angeles Nokia Theatre.

The singer's plans to top that show - and the designs for what she'll be wearing - will remain shrouded in secrecy until the event.

Cover up: The star kept the powder puff hat on but changed into a black velvet dress to go to the NYC Roseland Ballroom afterwards

Creating a buzz: Lady Gaga cuts a waspish figure in a black and yellow dress as she leaves her LA home

By GEORGINA LITTLEJOHN

Waspish: Lady Gaga steps out in yet another elegant dress as she showed off a black and yellow frock as she left her Los Angeles home

She might be toning down her outlandish and outrageous wardrobe but Lady Gaga is definitely not going to be headed for the knitted twin sets just yet.

Because while she may have ditched the rubber and meat and Kermit the frogs - for now - she is still making sure that she stands out from the crowd.

The singer looked very glamorous and elegant yesterday as she left her Los Angeles home in a yellow and white snakeskin dress.

That didn't last long... The illusion is shattered as Lady Gaga reveals punk platform boots under elegant dress

By DAILY MAIL REPORTER

These boots aren't made for walking: Lady Gaga leaves her LA studio and reveals chunky, punk-style boots underneath her elegant dress last night

She had us going there for a minute.

It looked as though Lady Gaga had decided to eschew the wacky - and increasingly tiresome - outfits, for good.

For two days in L.A, the blonde New Yorker had chosen classic dresses, first a classic Versace and second up, a pastiche of Audrey Hepburn's iconic ensemble from 1961 film Breakfast at Tiffany's.

Tired but still rocking it: Gaga retires to her Rolls Royce after a hard day, her beehive and earrings from earlier are gone

But last night as she left a recording studio in the early hours, the 25-year-old pop superstar revealed she's still got an edge.

Admittedly there were no fangs, prosthetic shoulders or horns, but the lady is not for turning... into a 'normal' celebrity.

Ten hours after disappearing into the studio, the Born This Way star emerged looked a little dishevelled.

The Hepburn homage had unravelled slightly, with the beehive loosened over the course of the session, and the large vintage earrings she modelled earlier had been removed.

Travelling in style: Gaga's Rolls Royce waits for her on Melrose Avenue

However the big reveal came when she lifted the skirt of her classic dress to reveal a diaphanous skirt over punky lace-up platforms.

And they were huge, definitely too big to walk in for very far, but happily Gaga had a matching Rolls Royce Phantom Drophead Coupe, waiting for her on the sidewalk.

It was always going to be the ultimate gimmick for the eccentric Lady Gaga.

With every visceral taboo broken, from meat dress to climbing inside a womb to feigning labour on stage, the legend had nowhere to go.

Except, of course, to the one area that no-one would ever expect, that of chic normality.

Classic: Lady Gaga looked demure and timeless for the second day in a tow as she arrived at her LA recording studio earlier

Is Lady Gaga going straight? Singer ditches the wacky attire for the second day at LA studio

By DAILY MAIL REPORTER

Classic: Lady Gaga looked demure and timeless for the second day in a tow as she arrived at her LA recording studio earlier

It was always going to be the ultimate gimmick for the eccentric Lady Gaga.

With every visceral taboo broken, from meat dress to climbing inside a womb to feigning labour on stage, the 25-year-old had nowhere to do.

Except, of course, to the one area that no-one would ever expect, that of chic normality.

Audrey Hepburn: Today's outfir evoked Audrey Hepburn's iconic look in Breakfast at Tiffany's

And for the second day in LA, as she arrived at a recording studio, she did just that.

Gaga, real name Stefani Germanotta, donned an elegant long black dress that clung to her dainty frame in all the right places.

With a beehive that evoked a blonde Audrey Heburn, the whole outfit was very Breakfast at Tiffany's, down to the large diamanté earrings.

Who's that girl? Lady Gaga is almost unrecognisable as she leaves a recording studio in a glamorous and normal - for her anyway - outfit by Versace

We're so used to seeing Lady Gaga step out in something original and outrageous that we almost didn't recognise her yesterday.

But it seems like the new elegant New Yorker may be here to stay.

Yesterday Gaga looked sophisticated and very high gloss in a straight black Versace dress with a stunning yellow flower pattern down one side.

Is that really you? Lady Gaga ditches the rubber and horns for sophisticated black dress and sleek glossy hair

By GEORGINA LITTLEJOHN

Who's that girl? Lady Gaga is almost unrecognisable as she leaves a recording studio in a glamorous and normal - for her anyway - outfit

We're so used to seeing Lady Gaga step out in something original and outrageous that we almost didn't recognise her.

The colourful pop star certainly didn't look like her usual wacky self as she left a recording studio yesterday.

Gaga looked sophisticated and very high gloss in a straight black dress with a stunning yellow flower pattern down one side.

Flashing a bit of leg: The side split on her dress showed off the singer's lovely pins

She wore towering back heels, a gold cuff and a tiny black clutch bag as she headed home from the studio.

Her long blonde looked shiny and sleek and was swept elegantly down her right shoulder as she gracefully tottered to her car.

Gone were her 'facial horns', the rubber additions and there's was not a trace of a rump steak anywhere.

Keeping it simple: Gaga ditched the wackiness and rubber clothes for a sophisticated look

It was such a far cry from her normal weird and bizarre wardrobe that she usually steps out in that she almost went unnoticed.

And in fact, she probably wouldn't have looked out of place on a night out with The Only Way Is Essex girls.

One thing's for sure, she looked stunning, elegant and absolutely gorgeous as she smiled demurely at the cameras as she made her way to her car.

Yes, it's really me: Gaga flashes a smile for the cameras as she head home from the studio
