Twitter rant: Jacqueline Laurita tweeted angry words about her Real Housewives of New Jersey co-star Teresa Giudice today


They are used to fighting on camera but now reality television's brashest stars are taking their angry war of words to the world wide web.

Real Housewives of New Jersey star Jacqueline Laurita vented her anger against co-star Teresa Giudice on social networking site Twitter in a slew of bitter tweets earlier today.

'Teresa put out an article that I text her and threatened to release those pictures and I didn't! I wanted to prove that. Teresa is scum!' wrote Laurita, who was overcome with fury.


The source of the argument was claims that fellow Housewife Melissa Gorga once worked as a stripper, which Laurita said were started by Giudice, who is Gorga's own sister-in-law, reported U.S. website RadarOnline.com.

'Teresa told me that 'rumor' about Melissa when she first started the show. She wanted her out then. She knew. She plotted it. She played dumb on camera and even defended Melissa,' Laurita tweeted in a very long message on the site.

While Giudice has kept her mouth shut for once and not responded with a biting reply on Twittter, Gorga addressed the stripper rumours on her own website.

'We are filming season 4 so there is not too much I can confirm,' she wrote on her blog. 'But there is one thing that I would like to clarify …the accusation that I was once a dancer at a strip club.

'This is 100% NOT TRUE. I did bartend for a few weeks at a bikini bar while I was in college. My outfit was a tank top, shorts and sneakers. SORRY, no bubbies there.

'You will have a better chance at seeing some nudity on the episode this Sunday.

Thanks to the always shy Joe Gorga!' Melissa added, referring to her husband.

The aspiring singer went on to explain:

'The reason I am so adamant about clearing this up is because people are making false accusations solely to hurt me and my family.

Someone desperately wants to knock me down and prove that I have something to hide, but then tries to cover it up by putting the blame on production.

'I have been happily married to my husband for 7 years and we have 3 beautiful children. Even if I had been a dancer, I do not know why anyone would care 10 years later,' wrote Gorga.

According to Radar, Jacqueline has heavily hinted over the past few days that she wants to leave the hit reality show and did not attend the season finale taping.

'2b honest.I'm tired of the BS &s****y low life people.I didn't know this was what I signed up 4.I have 2rise above&move on,' she tweeted last week.

As yet, there has been no official word from U.S. television network, Bravo, as to whether she will continue being featured.
